TSANG Shun-han  曾淳頎

Hanson Tsang graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIEd) and received the Master of Social Science, Master of Arts and Bachelor of Education (Honours) in Music respectively. He studied percussion and timpani under the tutelage of Mr. LUK Kin-bun and Mr. James BOZNOS, studied flute under the tutelage of Mr. Matthew WU and obtained DipABRSM in Percussion Performance from the Royal Schools of Music and LTCL in Flute Recital from Trinity College London. Tsang is currently the student of Master of Church Music, concentrating in Handbell at Concordia University Wisconsin. He is also a member of Composers and Authors Society of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Composers Guild.

During his studies om HKIEd, Tsang had received the Year Prize of Academic Excellence, Champion of Artistic Composition Award and Performance Award as well as Outstanding Contribution Award. He was also one of the awardees of HKIEd Student Representation in Oversea Activities Award and the award scheme helped him participate in various kinds of international music events like International Band Festival (WASBE), International Symposium of Music Education, International Handbell Symposium, International Orff Music Camp and International Dalcroze Workshop, Music Therapy Workshop, etc. Tsang is currently Assistant Music Officer of the Music Office and is responsible for the training of Western percussion classes as well as Hong Kong Youth Symphonic Band. He also established the Music Office Percussion Ensemble and Handbell Choir in order to promote community arts and the joy of ensemble training in Hong Kong. He is also adjunct music tutor in HKIEd.

曾淳頎先後畢業於香港中文大學及香港教育學院，獲頒社會科學碩士、文學碩士、教育（榮譽）學士，主修音樂。師隨陸健斌先生和龐樂思先生學習敲擊樂及定音鼓，隨胡永彥先生學習長笛，並先後考獲英國皇家音樂學院敲擊樂演奏文憑及英國聖三一音樂學院長笛演奏文憑。現為美國協同大學手鈴宗教音樂碩士課程學生，同時亦為香港作曲家及作詞家協會會員及香港作曲家聯會會員。就讀期間，先後獲頒學年成績優異獎、優秀藝術演奏獎、優秀藝術作曲獎及傑出服務獎，並奪得學生代表海外學習獎前赴世界各地參與不同音樂盛事，包括世界管樂節、國際音樂教育會議、國際手鈴研討會、國際奧福音樂營、國際達克羅茲及音樂治療工作坊等。 曾氏現為音樂事務處助理音樂主任，負責教授西樂敲擊、訓練及管理香港青年管樂團、籌辦音樂事務處敲擊樂團和手鈴隊，並為香港教育學院兼任音樂導師。
